i'm headed upstate for the first time since moving my things back from beacon at the beginning of january. i'm overwhelmed with gratitude and have cried many times already on this bus-- listening to so many bone-deep familiar songs from nahko bear, remembering and re-receiving so many parts of my life, my pain, my healing, The Road. all the adventures, all the loves, all the landscapes, all the unknowns, all the daring it took and takes, time after time after time. i feel like my life is being given back to mySelf. what a fucking wondrous feeling.

Love, it changes Everything. not a story after all, chest aching, Real. walking home with bags of sustenance, Too Heavy, the light lingering longer, Longest, i fell asleep on the kitchen floor last night as if i could wake and find you there. all the strangeness of things, the strangeness of this spring's edging summer, beginnings-- grief, joy, electricity, fortitude, exhaustion, holding without Holding, utter closeness, Space. 🌅 i miss you. ❤️‍🩹 [...]

i am longing, in this moment, for the feeling of deep connection the mushroom teachers gave me. the Understanding of the Love that runs underneath and through all things.i don't feel it right now. it is mother's day, and this holiday is heavy with my past heroics and star-shining abilities to Show Up in the ways i am expected to.
