WORLD OF WORDS: QUEENS
A forward-moving celebration of Queens Literary Arts
Hosted & Curated by Audrey Dimola

Saturday, April 12th, 3-5:30pm
Little Theatre at LaGuardia Performing Arts Center
31-10 Thomson Ave, Long Island City

Exploratory, emotional, ecstatic – these Queens locals and Queens supporters will share their stories with all the vibrancy and authenticity this borough is known for. Wit, rawness, passion, humor, and honesty: this is WORLD OF WORDS.

Live onstage in LaGuardia Performing Arts Center‘s 200-seat Little Theatre, local writers/poets and performers – some of whom appeared in the first ever Queens Literary Town Hall at Queens Council on the Arts and the Queens Poet Laureate’s ETERNiDAY festival at Queens Museum – will share their expressions in a variety of literary mediums interspersed with multi-disciplinary interludes, including poetry, storytelling, music, dance, video, theatre, spoken word, and literature in translation.
