WHAT THE PEOPLE SAY:
* WRITING/READING & PROMOTIONS:
I came to know Audrey Dimola when I launched my reading series, Boundless Tales, in September 2011. One of the many challenges of starting a reading series was the undertaking of spreading the word to writers and the general public. Audrey was one of the rare individuals who helped me in every capacity. She sent emails to writers she knew and referred me to many, many people who helped the reading become a success. In this way and many others, Audrey is a positive and energetic influence. As a writer who has been featured in my series several times, she is very talented. Her poetry is vivid, elusive and beautifully written. I also had the pleasure of asking Audrey to host my series as well as co-host with me on several occasions. She is reliable and extremely helpful. Audrey is a person I can turn to for help of almost any kind. She is very social and creative, and is willing to extend herself at a moment’s notice. She is an asset to any organization, person or institution who is fortunate enough to have her.
-Aida Zilelian-Silak, writer, teacher, and founder of Boundless Tales, Queens’ longest running reading series
* MAGAZINE WRITING & EDITING:
Audrey’s enthusiasm and creativity are amazing. We worked on a very small team of diverse writers and designers, but her unique views and interesting choices still stood out from the crowd. She was dependable on deadlines, not only meeting them but exceeding them, and built amazing relationships with business members throughout the community. She took ownership of every issue of the magazine and our publication was a better product because of her hard work and input.
-Auburn Scallon, former Online Editor at LIC’s original glossy arts magazine, Ins&Outs
* DIGITAL PROJECT MANAGING:
Audrey was one of the very first Dom & Tom employees, and was with the company through good times and bad as we grew from a start-up to an established small business. Audrey’s commitment to the company never wavered, and she was always eager to do whatever she could to ensure the company was a success, including taking on additional duties such as maintaining the company website and organizing company events. Audrey has excellent people skills and was very well-liked by her clients. She excelled at handling what became one of our largest client accounts and was greeted (like a rock star) whenever she went on-site. She has worked with top brands such as Hearst Corporation, Priceline.com, The Children’s Place, and Tyson Foods just to name a few. She has presented in front of Vice Presidents and executive management teams on everything from sales strategy to technical overviews to production requirements. She is intelligent, passionate, dedicated, and talented, and would make an excellent addition to any team.
-Tim Daly, Director of Operations at NYC-founded web and mobile development studio, Dom & Tom (multiple years-running, included in the prestigious Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies list)
* PRODUCING (with Nick Neon as Director, for “Grave of the Fireflies” music video):
I’ve worked with some very talented people, some of which have Grammy awards on their fireplace mantles, in the video medium. I can honestly say that Nick Neon and Audrey Dimola and their team are heads above pretty much all of them. When it comes to keeping things fun and on track, exciting and organized – which is not an easy balancing act – Nick and Audrey nail it. Easily the most fun and also most rewarding video and crew I have worked with. Ever.
–Acey Slade, original musician, former bassist for Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, all-around rockstar
