Ins&Outs TV

Ins&Outs TV is the multimedia complement to Ins&Outs Magazine, featuring live interviews and video reviews of local restaurants and businesses, musicians, artists, fashion designers, gallery openings, diverse events, and I&O happenings. While working at Ins&Outs, I did on-camera interviews and voice-overs for I&O TV videos, which were shot and edited by Production Manager Camilo Quiroz.

Here is a selection of several I&O TV pieces I hosted:

+ Subdivision Trunk & Fashion Show
“Not every fierce fashion show was in Bryant Park this February for Fashion Week in NYC! Ins&Outs TV attended the Subdivision Trunk and Fashion Show at the Foundry in LIC on February 10, 2009. Watch footage from the runway of Fall ’09 looks and interviews with four local NYC designers: Andrea Corson, Claire Vuillemot of Rubytone, Moriah Carlson of Feral Childe, and Sumie Tachibana. The show also featured clothing and jewelry designs from Joel Voisard, Ayka Ayka, Astridland, Death by Drone, Le’cneca, and Yu Clothing, and was presented by Subdivision, a boutique and gallery on Vernon Blvd. in LIC. Thank you to Virginia Mason from Subdivision and Sumie Tachibana for inviting us to be a part of it! Buy, shop, and wear local!”

+ Lauren Diamond ‘Unplugged’ in the Ins&Outs office
“Support local music! This episode of Ins&Outs TV features the first time we invited an artist to play live in the Ins&Outs office. Astoria-based singer-songwriter Lauren Diamond plays 3 of her original songs and speaks with Audrey Dimola about her music & the ever-growing Astoria scene. Thanks so much to Lauren for bringing her music to us LIVE in LIC!

Part II:

+ Sanfords Restaurant
“Ins&Outs TV visited Sanford’s Restaurant at 30-13 Broadway in Astoria. Open since the 1920s and recently renovated, the restaurant (open 24 hours!) offers high-end comfort food, great music, a wide selection of wines & beers, and chic atmosphere. Special thanks to co-owner Gus Karalekas for speaking with us — cheers to Sanford’s! 718.932.9569.

+ Step Out, Step Up Fashion Show
“On May 8th, 2008, Step Up Women’s Network introduced their partnership with Macerich Company at the Queens Center Mall, hosted by Ins&Outs Magazine’s Fashion Editor, Stephanie Remige, with models from the American Cancer Society.”
